The Beloved Foreclosure will always hold a special place in mine and Grunt Labor’s hearts. It was indeed a foreclosure and the first time we went to look at it, there was no running water or electricity. But, it was in our “perfect” neighborhood and we knew we could make it our own. Ok, well I knew and talked Grunt Labor into getting it. We worked non-stop one summer to make it our own – we took out walls, renovated the kitchen, bathroom, installed new flooring and countless other things. We survived solely on Diet Mountain Dew and Cheap Beer that summer. We had never intended to leave it, but life sometimes has other things in mind. Here’s our final product before we moved out. After this tour, you can also see a home tour of our current home, The 70’s Landing Pad, here.
