Collected Modern Living Room

After four years of living in the beloved foreclosure, the living room is finally done.

For now anyways.

It may have taken four years, but I can finally say that I know my style and I love my living room.

Of course, its all subject to change on a whim.

For now, I’m calling it the Collected Modern Living Room.

I’m sure that isn’t the correct design technical term for this living room, but I don’t care.

Its a mix of vintage and thrifted pieces that have received a facelift with some modern elements.

The PERFECT combination of modern and vintage elements! Collected Modern Living Room

Disclosure: Frosting Home Decor provided me with curtains for my living room. However, all opinions and love of the color Kelly Green are 100% mine.

You saw the super big change – the black and white gallery wall – in my spring home tour, but the whole space wasn’t finished yet. It needed curtains – and a couple other things I didn’t know it needed.

For example, I had no idea it needed the handsome end table.

Living Room Decor Ideas: Paint an end table a bold, but classic hue.

The Perfect Navy End Table

But after I saw it in the living room, I knew this table and I could never part ways.

I also ended up adding a punch of color to the console table.

Easy way to add a pop of color to a space - paint "frames" around drawers and furniture surfaces!

The icing on the cake was the window treatments.

Living Room Design Ideas: Kelly Green Curtains with Coral Lamps

I searched high and low for the perfect green curtains – I was even about to make my own – when I found these kelly green panels.

Modern Living Room - love the kelly green curtains against the coral lamps!

I am crazy over how they look against the coral lamps. They bring in that punch of green that is throughout the rest of my house as well.

I’m off to lounge on the couch and watch cartoons with the circus while gazing around my finally finished living room.

What do you think of the new collected-modern living room?
