While most people have plenty of photos of their pets, most don’t have a gorgeous piece of art depicting their pet. To have the portrait done, all you usually need is a photo you can send to the Etsy seller. I’m willing to bet you can pull one of those from your gift recipient’s Facebook page. I will never not include a custom home portrait in my gift guides at least once every holiday season. These babies are just too good not to mention. We’ve now given multiple people custom home portraits and they are always a hit and often bring a tear to an eye. All you’ll need is a photo of the house you want the portrait for. While giving them a portrait of the house they are in is always a great idea, you can also think outside the box – like their childhood home, the first house they started their family in, their grandparent’s home, etc. This will be something they will treasure for a very long time.
