If you’re one for thinking out of the box when it comes to holiday gift giving, then this list is for you.
These are all gift ideas that keep on giving.
Magazine subscriptions are usually the most thought of subscription type holiday gifts – and those are great – but here are some more subscription gifts that could really send some of the people on your gift list into overdrive when it comes to showering you with compliments about how awesome you are. 😉
Some brands provided products and/or compensation for inclusion in this gift guide. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Affiliate links may be included in this post, which means if you purchase something through one of those links, I may earn a small commission, but you won’t pay a dime more. Thanks for supporting my cheap beer habit and helping to send my kid to college.
Gifts That Keep Giving
Meal Planning Made Simple
This gift idea is for those super busy people in your life or those people who love to cook and try new foods. Or really just anyone who also hates going to the grocery store. 😉 Give them the gift of not having to figure out what’s for dinner and going to the grocery store with a gift card to Blue Apron or Hello Fresh. They’ll be able to decide what kind of meal and for how many they want to use their gift card for and they will be so grateful that all the heavy lifting was done for them. Personally, we have used Blue Apron before and loved it. The recipes are pretty easy and the food was delicious. I included Hello Fresh here though as well to give you a couple of different options and because I’ve also heard great things about it.
Unique Gifts All Year Long
As I’ve said in multiple gift guides this year, Apollo Box has become one of my go-to places for gifts. They have some of the most unique items I’ve ever seen. They also offer an Apollo Box Surprise Box that would make a great gift that keeps giving the whole year through. Each month or quarter (you choose!), the gift recipient would receive a box of unique goodies from Apollo Box – it’s kind of like those grab bags from back in the day that you didn’t know what was inside, but you knew it would be good! There are a few options to choose from when it comes to the subscription box – prices start at $30 for a box with products that are valued up to $50! Find out more about The Apollo Box Subscription Box here.
Help them learn something new.
One of the best gifts you can give someone is the gift of learning something new – so how about a language? With Rosetta Stone, you can purchase a 3, 6, 12, or 24 month subscription to gift someone. There are 30 languages to choose from. This would be great for those people who love to travel the world or just always wanted to learn a new language but never got the chance! Rosetta Stone can be used on a desktop computer, a tablet or their phone. Find out more about Rosetta Stone subscription options here.
Shopping Without Leaving Home
I included this one in my post about gift ideas for gals earlier this month, but I also wanted to include it here because it fits so well. Stitch Fix is perfect for those people who need to treat themselves a little, but rarely have the time to do it. Without ever leaving their sofa, they can have a personal stylist curate an outfit or two just for them. And if they like it, they can sign up to receive a new “fix” every month or however often they wish. Of course, you might not be the best person to nail down the exact style of the person on your gift list, so give them a Stitch Fix gift card. Stitch Fix offers packages for both guys and gals!
P.S. If you’ve been wanting to try Stitch Fix yourself, then you can use this link to get your first fix free – that means your $25 styling fee will be waived. Hurry though, that’s only good through the end of November!
The gift of good wine – on the regular.
Martha Stewart knows a lot of things and one thing I’m sure she knows is good wine. If you’ve got a wine lover on your list, consider giving them a Martha Stewart Wine Co. Subscription. There are different packages to choose from to fit every budget and occasion.
A Regular Bouquet of Beauty.
I know many people say, “Well, flowers just die,” but I’m not one of those people. Yes, they die, but I love having fresh flowers in the house. There is just something about them that can lift your spirits a little and bring a smile out of you even on the roughest of days. Bloomsy Box offers flower subscriptions that you can gift to someone on your list. Once more, there are different options to choose from to fit your budget. Also, you can use the code BLOOMSYA10 to get $10 off a 6 month subscription or BLOOMSYA5 to get $5 off a month to month plan.
A gift of memories.
I am a huge fan of Legacybox. If you’ve been around here for more than a hot second, you know that I am big on preserving those special family memories whether it’s a piece of furniture, a photo or hell, even a bottle of cologne. Legacybox is a service that digitizes all your old family photos, home videos and more. Talk about giving someone a walk down memory lane for the holidays, right?
