How about a little bright and cheery amid all this madness, huh?
I’m usually not much of a Facebook scroller, but over this past week or so, I found myself on there a whole lot more. And let me tell ya, it just wasn’t healthy. Upon coming to that realization, I got off Facebook and started perusing Pinterest more than I have before. The beautiful rooms and creative ideas there were a much needed distraction.
And so today, myself along with lots of other bloggers are bringing you some pretty distractions of our own!
If you’re popping over from Pender and Peony, welcome! Katherine’s Grandmillenial style is quite colorful and beautiful. And if you don’t know what grandmillenial means, don’t feel bad, I didn’t either. I had to look it up! Essentially though, Katherine’s blog is grandmillenial at its finest.
Also, a big thanks to our official hosts for this tour – Jennifer from Dimples and Tangles and Jewel from Jeweled Interiors. They each have gorgeous style. Don’t miss their tours!
In the interest of keeping everything bright and cheery, for my tour today I’m sharing images from some of my most colorful spaces. While I love my moody black living room and dining room, I wanted to keep things brighter today.
Pink and Green Mudroom
It’s a little Palm Beach. It’s a little Eclectic. It’s a whole lot of colorful.
Flooring / Wall Hooks / Pink Door Color
Mudroom Cabinets / Green Bamboo Fabric / Bamboo Roman Shade / Pink Tassel
Lighting / Wallpaper / Similar Brass Chinese Symbols
DIY Indoor Lattice Wall / Red Mirror (similar) / Similar Brass Ginger Jar / Similar Blue Jars / Green Tassel

Citrus, Light Blue and Kelly Green Master Bedroom
I just gave my master bedroom a much needed refresh! I fell in love with this citrus bedding and was intent on keeping those kelly green curtains in the space. The conundrum was what wall color to use with the two colors – baby blue to the rescue!
Citrus Diamond Bedding / Black and White Dot Sheets / Black Bedskirt / Palm Pillow Cover / Green Curtains / Chandelier
DIY Hollywood Regency Headboard / Green Tassel / Wall Color – this one + 220 drops of white added

Colorful Boho Bathroom
This is my daughter’s bathroom that we recently remodeled last fall. It went from gray and drab to a boho eclectic wonderland perfectly fit for my girl.
Vanity / Faucet / Mirror / Pendant Lights
Curvy Wall Moldings / Pug Dog Wallpaper / Tile Flooring / Toilet
See more of the bathroom here.
Swimming in Color Laundry Room
Our laundry room is actually one of the most fun rooms in our house. It works overtime in the summer; it’s the main point of entry and exit to and from the pool. Thus why swimmers simply had to be included here.
Swimmers Wallpaper / Shadow Box for Swimsuit / Storage Bench
DIY Kitchen Island (turned mudroom workspace!) / Play the Day Away Art Print
See more of the laundry room here.
Peachy Home Office
Lots of us are spending a whole lot more time in here right now, huh?
Light Fixture / DIY Built In Cabinets / Desk Chair / Leopard Print Rug (similar) / Chippendale Desk

Wall Color / Dolly Print / Leopard Print

I’ll leave you with the one and only Dolly. You might want to add these songs of her’s to your playlist. They are pretty great at brightening up a dreary day and getting you through any rough patches:
Light of a Clear Blue Morning
Better Get to Livin’
Two Doors Down
Eagle When She Flies
Red Shoes
The next tour in the lineup today is Diana Rose Spier – you will love her colorful take on classic style! I certainly do! See the full tour lineup below.
