This is an awesome printable - perfect for decluttering your home! 9 MUST READ Cleaning Tips!

Every year, usually a day or two after Christmas, something very liberating happens at our house.

No bra burning.

No marches on the courthouse lawn.

We purge.

I go through every nook and cranny of this house and I get rid of stuff.

Lots of stuff.

And it feels so good.

And then after I’ve went through every nook and cranny, I start selling all that stuff.

And I make a little money.

And that feels damn good.

This year, I wanted you to get in on the excitement of purging and finding money, so I whipped up this little printable to share what I do.

Yes.

15 Days to a Clutter-Free Home

And the extra cash – don’t forget the cash.

Before you download the printable checklist though, let me be clear about something:

This checklist will not organize your home. I don’t have the first clue how to teach you how to organize your home, because I don’t even know that I have a system for that – I just do whatever works.

This checklist will help you de-clutter your home and free up some possibly much needed space.

This checklist may not be anything new to you. That’s probably because these are real-life common sense things that you’ve probably done before. Sometimes, it just helps to have it in checklist form – I’m not the only one who gets a rush when I check something off, right?

Alright, I think that’s my whole spill.

And by all means, if you’ve got some de-cluttering tips, please share them in the comments below!

    Jenna,
Excellent list! Can’t wait to begin. Breaking the steps into 15 makes it more manageable – I think! πŸ™‚

What a great list! Thank you for this, we’re working on our home one room at a time. Progress is slow but we’re getting there. It says on your list to throw out old towels? I just wanted to say that towels and maybe unwanted pillows & bedding are always needed at local animal shelters. Thank you again for the fab printable, I’ve pinned it. Hugs x

You can also donate linens, towels, clothing to shelters, goodwill etc.. Or you can use to wrap fragile items that you end up selling from your “Big Clean” for that safe shipping to satisfied customers!

I would add that all those stained towels you are getting rid of are often needed by the local animal shelters. If you won’t use it…the animals needing baths do not care if it is stained or has a hole!!! Thanks.

I’m working on my first ever yard sale. OMG I have sooooo much stuff to sell! Tons of costume jewelry and fashion jewelry and antique/vintage jewelry. Clothes. Books. Some sporting/exercise equipment, motorcycle gear, housewares, kitchenware. picture frames. I’m a little overwhelmed at the moment. Found your page how to make clothes racks. Great idea. Also the signs, very cute. Thanks! Wish me luck!
