If you remember my post from last Saturday, I told you about the modern and fresh fall tours I am participating in this month.
When I think modern and fresh, I think simple.
And if there is one thing I am all about it is simple seasonal decorating.
Here are my simple fall decorating ideas.
The entryway is warmed up with golden pinecones that were spray painted gold.
Mini pumpkins are also simply arranged.
On of my favorite things to do at fall is to elevate mini pumpkins with candlestick holders. Its an easy touch with big impact.
Mini orange pumpkins warm up the whiteware on my open shelving in the kitchen as well. This was quick five minute decorating. Pop the pumpkins in the containers, or flip some upside down to act as pedestals.
I filled the white urn on the top shelf with more spray painted pine cones.
My glittery fall garland was about a thirty minute project. I strung it from the open shelving and left the ribbon hanging for a casual touch.
I have more whiteware on top of my liquor cabinet that also got some simple pumpkin decor.
And golden pinecones.
The simplicity of these upcycled pumpkins still blow me away.
Who knew white paint and orange ribbon could create such a big impact?
And shockingly, I’ve done well at keeping my promise to switch up my chalkboard decor with the seasons.
I am not a good chalk artist. The best I can manage is a single pumpkin and the word “fall.”
Like what you see?

I just love your website!!! I look at every little detail and have to ask…..where did you get the horse statute that sits on top of your liquor cabinet?? I just love horse decor and am always on the look out for it.
Thanks!
Jenna @ Rain on a Tin Roof says
Thanks, Kim!! You are a sweetie! The horse statue is actually an old weather vane that came from the top of my great-grandfather’s barn. The holes are actually ones my dad shot in it playing around as a boy. I just love how much history it has!
