I love a good hack, especially a good hack that is so much cheaper than the real thing. Painting a basic rug is an affordable way to get exactly the look you want without paying a fortune on a rug that may get grape Kool-Aid spilled on it only minutes after you put it down. Yea, you know what I’m talking about.

Hello, can you tell me the paint you use for painting rugs? Do you use spray paint only? I would love to paint a couple rugs but not sure what you use. Appreciate any advise!!
Thank you!
Lisa

Hi Lisa! I’ve used regular semi-gloss latex paint for painting rugs. I believe you could also use spray paint as well.
