There’s a big holiday giveaway going on around here right now! Be sure to enter it here!
It’s been a few years since the kid has gotten her own (blue) Christmas tree and it’s been that long since we’ve shared how she decorates her tree too. So when my friend Chelsea from Two Twenty One asked a few of us bloggers to share our kiddo’s Christmas trees and holiday spaces, I was like, “Yes! But is it ok if our tree is a hot mess?”
Because that’s kind of what it is.
It’s a sweet hot mess though.
If you’re making the rounds on the tour and coming over from Southern State of Mind – welcome! I have always adored Heather’s style and her kid’s Christmas space is no different!
Some of y’all already know I’m a big proponent of decorating your tree with memories and special ornaments and not just creating color-coordinated masterpiece Christmas trees. Those are gorgeous, don’t get me wrong, but I love looking at our Christmas trees and knowing that just about every ornament on it has a story.
So of course, I let the Circus decorate her tree however she wants to and only help when she asks me to. Throughout the year, as we are yard-saleing or thrifting, I’ll also let her buy Christmas decorations and ornaments that she likes too for herself and her room. She’s amassing quite the collection.
Without further delay, this is how she decorated her tree this year…
It is very much what I call “Full-On Circus in All Her Glory” themed.
She put more ornaments on it than ever before and decorated all around and underneath it too.
She even gave her “big” tree a “baby” silver tree to the side of it.
You may spot Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs lingering in the branches alongside My Little Ponies and Super Heros. I’ve also spotted a Ninja Turtle and Cabbage Patch Kid a time or two.
Because no one could fully describe in detail the Circus’ Christmas tree better than the Circus herself, she made a video for all of y’all to watch. If you watch, you can find out which dwarf has landed himself in the slammer and where the slammer is even located in this glorious Christmas-topia.
If you can’t see the video below, try turning off your ad blocker if you have it. 🙂
Here’s to unicorn horns masquerading around as Christmas tree ornaments, y’all.
If you didn’t get that, you didn’t watch the video.
Merry Christmas from the Circus!
The next stop on the tour is Haneen’s Haven – I’m confident it won’t be as hot mess as ours. 😉
