I hope that as each of you read that title, you began singing Tom Petty’s Christmas All Over Again. Because it’s been stuck in my head since November 5th when I opened the store in all of it’s full-on holiday glory and started playing Christmas music.
While I have decorated for the holidays at my house as well as the store, I haven’t had time to do a proper holiday home tour, so I thought I’d share a random few mash up of images from the store and home.
Can you tell that the setup above is a door? Grunt added a table to both sides of it that we can float in the store. For the holiday season, I put it right up front as a “Welcome to Christmas” sort of entry. I used lots of red and green to make it really pop.
Isn’t the tree beautiful? One of Grunt’s coworkers, Judy, gave it to me! Can you believe that? It was so sweet of her. Thank you Judy! I used basic buffalo check ribbon throughout and ornaments we were selling at the store – simple, but pretty! I was in a pickle for the tree topper, so I grabbed that old weathervane off my kitchen wall at the farmhouse. A few zip ties later and it made the perfect topper.
This is the other side of the door-table. I styled it with more of our deeper holiday color and rustic type holiday decor items. Isn’t that Santa great? He went quick!
Not only do we have a great group of insanely talented vendors at the store, but we have a crazy talented artist right beside us. Charlyn took an image that we have on a t-shirt, added a little Christmas magic and painted this on our window. It turned out better than I ever could have dreamed!
And can you believe that Santa sent a few of his elves with a mailbox just for Local Depot?! Kiddos can drop their letters to Santa in the mailbox and they will go straight to him at the North Pole!
After years of collecting vintage Santas, I finally came up with the cutest little way to display them.
I created this little setup on the kitchen table at the farmhouse. All those Santas make for a jolly kitchen, right?
This is one of my favorite little corners at home.
I scored that little angel for $2 at a thrift store – doesn’t she make the cutest little topper? Y’all know I’m not really much of a color coordinated themed Christmas tree kind of girl, and our tree with all the special ornaments on it is still my most favorite, but I do love how this silver tree with pinks and greens turned out. It just pops beautifully off those black walls. Who says black can’t work with holiday decor? π
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas at my house if all the busts weren’t adorned….
This year, we went with velvet bows for each fella. I’m not sure if they prefer them more or less over the sparkly bow ties I made for them last year. It’s hard to tell what they are thinking sometimes, ya know?
I hope to pop in here again before the year is over, but if I don’t get to, I hope each of you have a wonderful holiday season. I know it’s a little different than holidays past, but never the less, enjoy the season, friends! And please, stay safe!

Girl, a pandemic was NOT in the plan when we embarked on this! But we were in it nevertheless, so we just kept swimming! Thank you!
