Trash to Treasure is back!
Oh yea, I’m totally dancing in front of my computer screen right now.
Today, I have for you, quite possibly, the simplest DIY, I have ever done.
Please excuse the overuse of commas in the above sentence. I was really trying to build some drama there.
Friends, let me introduce you to my No-Sew Color Block Pillows.
Five minutes after your glue gun is heated up anyway.
So go now and heat up your glue gun so that you can do this as soon as you finish reading this post.
I had two of these pillows sitting in my yard sale pile:
I picked them up about a year and a half ago at Target for $5 each. I used them for a little while on the gray side (they are reversible) then decided I was done with them and threw them in the pile so that one spring day I could make a little money on them.
But then, I saw this idea from The Happy Housie. And I was like, I should totally do that with my pillows except with green and navy. (Because those are my colors!)
I picked up grosgrain ribbon* in navy and green in two different widths of each color, then just hot glued the ends on the gray side. I also put a dot of hot glue on the seams and pressed the ribbon down well there.
I especially love how well they go with my DIY horse silhouette pillow.
