This round of gift ideas is all about the adventurers on your holiday gift list.
The jet setters.
The ones who can’t stay still.
The ones who fully intend to see every square inch of this world that they possibly can.
The ones who are planning their next trip before their last one has even ended.
These are for those guys and gals….

Gift Ideas for the Adventurers
Remind them where they’ve been and where they’ve yet to go.
United States Scratch-Off Map / World Scratch-Off Map
Hands down, this one is probably my most favorite gift idea of the whole holiday season. These scratch-off maps from Travel Bug Maps are nothing short of genius and they are priced great! As one travels to different places, when they come back, they can scratch off the place they went to reveal a beautiful watercolor underneath. You can find the United States version here and the world version here. I went with the two-pack though that includes both the United States and the world for someone on my list.
For those who like to ride their bicycles.
Fun Between Your Legs Cup Holder / Grab Life With Both Hands Cup Holder
This shop has some of the cutest bicycle cup holders I’ve ever seen – they’re witty too. Perfect for that friend who loves their bike and also a laugh or two. See all the different options here.
Every Adventurer needs a good duffel bag.
Navy and White Striped Duffel Bag / Military Style Duffel Bag
Grunt Labor and I aren’t necessarily adventurers, but we both have weekender duffel bags and I don’t know what we would do without them. We use them for all of our weekend trips to the farm or Nashville. If we count on ours that much, I know someone who travels way more often than we do needs a good one too. This navy and white striped one has a classic feel and this military one has a more rugged feel.
Tell them to just go.
Just Go Passport Cover / Where To Next Luggage Tag
In my opinion, leather never goes out of style and only gets better with age. Give the adventurers on your list a passport cover to remind them to be wild and just go sometimes and a luggage tag to keep their baggage in check.
For the adventurer who likes to keep every little memento…
Travel Stub Diary / Ticket Stub Diary
My hand is raised on this one. I keep just about every zoo ticket, movie ticket, subway ticket and whatever other little tokens such as those that we use on our trips. I love this travel stub diary and ticket stub diary because you can actually flip through them to look at all the mementos from your trips.
For the adventurer who snaps photos on their travels…
Geometric Personalized Camera Strap Cover / Beer Bottle Camera Strap Cover / Arrows Camera Strap Cover
These camera strap covers not only make that strap that comes with your camera more comfortable, but they also have a pocket for the camera lens cap when your adventurer is snapping pictures! Clever, right? A Diva and Three Dudes Design has these in their Etsy shop in lots of fabric options and with or without personalization.
A gift that pulls double duty…
This cooler chair is perfect for those guys or girls that love to fish, hunt or just sit by the lake for a while. Not only is it a seat and holds your beer (or other beverage of choice), but it also has a coozie holder built-in and we all know that’s essential for a cold beer. Am I right or am I right?
Vintage Style Camping Mugs
Adventure Awaits Mug / Happy Camper Mug
Give the campers on your list or even just any adventurer a vintage style camping mug. Choose from Adventure Awaits or Happy Camper.
For a picnic in the park…
For the person who loves lazy days in the park or just in their own backyard, this picnic blanket could be perfect for them.
For the adventurer who also loves shiny things…
Coordinate Necklace / Compass Necklace
I’ve just recently found the Mignon and Mignon Etsy shop that these items are from and there isn’t much I don’t love in their store! This coordinate necklace is a very thoughtful gift that your adventurer would definitely appreciate. Choose any coordinates – think a trip you took together or something like that. If you don’t want to go the more personalized route, then this compass necklace is beautiful and will remind them to always follow their heart in their adventures.
Remind them to make note of their travels.
These leather wrapped travel journals are perfect for the adventurer who does some reflecting while they are traveling or who just likes to reminisce on their adventures. They come in many different options. See them here.
Here’s to the adventurers on our holiday gift lists – may their journeys always be safe and filled with good times!

what a great collection! i loooove the watercolor map, it’s so different. i wish my travel wasn’t so concentrated in europe, b/c all my color would be tiny and in one section, lol. goals, tho!

Oh, but Europe!! I so want to go!!
You have some fabulous ideas here!! I could definitely use the heated insoles when I umpire the softball games in the fall and winter here in Nevada! (Yeah, we play no matter the weather…wind, rain, snow, nothing stops us). I also love the maps – rather reminds me of the quilt I am making for my daughter in the Army that will have the shape of each place she has been stationed (Missouri, Arizona, South Korea, Texas, Florida, Iraq, Afghanistan, Washington and Hawaii so far).
Oh Susan, that quilt sounds so special. what a great idea! She is going to love it!
Every adventurer certainly needs a good duffel bag!
