If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen when around 10 packages of new fall clothes arrived on my doorstep. 🙂 Now, I didn’t actually order that many items of clothing – I’m one of those online shoppers who will order multiple sizes in things she likes, get it, try it on, then return the sizes that don’t fit.
I ordered a ton of stuff from Old Navy and I haven’t bought from them in quite a while. Nothing wrong with Old Navy at all, I just hadn’t really found much there lately that just screamed “You need me, Jenna!”
Well, their fall line changed that.
All in all, I think I ordered like 10 actual clothing pieces, but then about three sizes in each of the pieces and then returned all the sizes that didn’t work. I’m sure retail stores hate me for that, but whatevs, I’ll wear that Queen of Returns crown proudly. 😉
So, let’s talk about all the awesome fall pieces I kept! The best thing – each of these is less than $50 and most are less than $40!

Best Fall Fashion Finds Under $50
Heads up! I just clicked over to Old Navy and it looks like they are running a 30% everything sale today only (9/21/17)! No code is needed, just click the 30% off your order toward the bottom of their homepage! That 30% off is going to make all of these pieces less than $40!
I cannot tell you just how much I love this twill field jacket! It is truly the perfect jacket for fall. It’s lightweight and works with anything. It also comes in six other colors if the green isn’t your thing.
P.S. I’m wearing zero makeup in all these photos. #reallife I must really like you guys. 🙂
P.S. Those booties also come in a leopard print! Holla!
Yep, red jeans.
So I haven’t bought jeans from Old Navy in a looooong time. Like, maybe not ever. They just never really fit me right. But. I had seen the new rockstar jeans they had and loved the colors, so I decided to give them a whirl. And I’m so glad I did. I got the skinny, stretch mid-rise fit and love them. And they are about $35 a pair, so no complaints there either!
I also bought this classic button-down shirt. I love it paired with the garnet jeans. I also layered in the field jacket on top of it in the first photo above and loved it that way too. It’s just a super versatile shirt that should be a closet staple.
I also bought a couple of long sweater cardigans as well, which I’m quickly falling in love with. I bought this one in garnet and this one in fir. I love both of them because they are great for layering in fall and the colors are so pretty.
This sweater is the only one I’m unsure of. I like how it’s casual, but can be easily dressed up and how it’s a little longer, but I’m just not sure yet. Grunt says it’s a yes, but I’m going to pair it up a few more ways before I decide if I’m definitely keeping it or not.
And the Circus even found herself a great little fall score…
I sing Cool Rider from Grease 2 every time she puts this on. When we found this jacket, it went something like this:
Circus: “Mama, look at that jacket!”
Me: “Child, find your size fast!”
No way that thing wasn’t coming home with us. I will now live out my dream of being just like Sandy at the end of Grease vicariously through the Circus. She can be Stephanie from Grease 2.
