A great pair of shoes can often be my weakness. They come second only to a great band t-shirt.
If I had to choose only five pairs of shoes to keep, these would be it.
Not including a good pair of tennis shoes. 😉
These are the shoes I wear over and over and over again. The ones I’ll only part with when the soles have holes in them or Jesus comes back – whichever comes first.
My Top Five Must-Have Shoes for Women

If I’m running errands around town or doing a little bit of shopping and I’m not in gym shorts and a t-shirt, then chances are I’m going to be wearing jeans, a cute top and my leopard print flats. There isn’t an outfit these shoes don’t work with. I don’t care who you are, leopard is a neutral, and it’s the best damn neutral there is. 😉
I actually bought these yellow heels solely because they matched the yellow in my favorite Rolling Stones t-shirt. However, these shoes won me over in no time. They have the perfect height on the heel – not too high, not too short. The bright yellow adds a pop of color and surprise to outfits that may otherwise be a little bland. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been stopped in the street by women who tell me they love these shoes. It looks like they only have one size left in my exact same heels, but there are very similar ones here and here.
Works with Everything Sandal
I bought these sandals toward the end of April and have worn them countless times since. They are the perfect pair of sandals for summer – they’re comfortable, not too dressy, but not too casual and they work with just about any outfit under the sun. Did I mention they are also under $25? See, they really are the perfect pair of sandals. 😉
Red Cowboy Boots
I am a country girl. I love those yellow heels above just as much as I love my red cowboy boots. I got these boots for Christmas from Grunt Labor a few years back and we’ve been best buds ever since. I wear them all throughout the year with a myriad of outfits including cute sweatshirts and jeans, dresses, blue jean shorts, t-shirts and more.
Go-To Nude Heels
If I have a more dressy occasion where my yellow heels are a bit too much and my leopard flats aren’t enough, I usually opt for my go-to nude heels. These will literally go with anything – a nice dress, distressed jeans, jumpsuits, anything. I like these because they have a lower heel, so if I’m going to be on my feet a lot, they are easier to walk in.
